Young family finds permanent home at Manila Rivercity Residences

Kathleen and her husband first purchased their unit at Manila Rivercity Residences during the mid-2000 as an investment to be leased out. But when they had their child Zoe five years after, they decided to use the one-bedroom unit as their starter home.

As a young professional, a wife, and a mother, Kathleen greatly appreciates the convenient location of Manila Rivercity Residences. “I work in Manila area. My husband works in Makati area. So basically, it’s very, very, convenient for both of us. It’s near my office. It’s near his office. It’s also near the office of our child,” she said.

A safe community where children can play freely
While Manila Rivercity Residences has a near central location, the property also provides a safe haven within its gates, especially for its younger residents. Kathleen said, “It was a very relaxing parenting for me because I can see my child just around the corner with other kids so I don’t have to worry that she will be bumped by a car or what.”

Sunday is family, pool time
While Kathleen’s young child enjoys playing with the other kids in the community, she also likes spending Sunday mornings at the pool with her parents.

Kathleen shares, “During weekends, she makes us kulit. Can we swim, can we swim? Kami naman, we wake up early to join her. Kasi that makes her happy, that makes us happy, too. It’s become our family bonding every weekend.”

Upgrading to a more spacious, permanent home
The young family will later on move into a two-bedroom unit, also in Manila Rivercity Residences.

“Because of the accessibility of the location and since we are familiar na with the community, we decided to get another unit. It’s a two-bedroom unit. The one-bedroom will be an investment na lang for us. For the two-bedroom, we’re going to use it as our permanent home, supposedly.”
